Just on the other side of the Panther’s stadium is the Southend/Dilworth area. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Charlotte, Dilworth was the original “suburb” of the young trading and financial center of Charlotte. Historic homes and churches, diverse shopping and arts areas and a newly revitalized business district and trolley line and restaurant population, make suburban life close to the center of the city entirely possible.
All the imaginable family conveniences are in the neighborhood, but if variety is what you want, the SouthPark Mall complex is just minutes away.
